blow moulding EXPLAINED
Here is a short video clip explaining the process of blow moulding.
steps INVOLVED:
Shown below are the 6 basic steps involved in the process of blow moulding.
Heated Plastic is extruded into hollow tube(parison) of the Die.
The mould then closes and the parison is kept in its place increasing pressure on the tube.
Compressed air is blown into the parison tube which starts to inflate and take the shape of the mould.
The tube takes the shape of the mould by inflating air into the parison.
The bottle is trimmed from the top and the bottom where the excess is cut out and it is given a perfect finish.
The bottle is now ready to be sent for polishing and then for packaging after which it can make lives of the consumers EASY.
